LG LP155CED1 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor control board determines when to initiate the defrosting phase in order to defrost your outdoor unit. The board is relayed information from a temperature sensor located near the condenser to determine when the defrost cycle should begin.
Major indications your LG defrost sensor board should be replaced
- Defrosting will not initiate especially when there is frost on the outdoor unit
- Air conditioning may end up not running due in part to the amount of frost on the outdoor unit
- The main board might issue an error number when a defrost board fails to initialize
