Because it is really easy to do, the filter should probably be changed out or simply cleaned every so often depending on how much you use it.
Some clues the air filter is failing
- It is greatly recommended to replace the filter every season of the year so as to have cleaner breathable air
- It looks gray or brown and probably should be replaced immediately
- If you lift the air filter up to a source of bright light, the light will not break through to the other side of a very dirty air filter
