This simple filter can protect the unit and make it operate a lot better at doing its job while also cleaning the air breathe in and out everyday. Due to the amount of dust in the house, the filter should probably be exchanged or cleaned periodically depending on how much you use it.
General indicators that your the primary air filter has little life left
- If you were to lift up the filter, the light is unable to shine through to the other side of the air filter
- The unit air filter looks brown and must be replaced before tomorrow
- Professionals have advised to swap out your air filter about every 90 days to keep the unit running efficiently
