The unit filter is responsible for filtering tiny dust fragments and other particles from the inside air inside the home. This filtering system will help make the unit cleaner and make it operate a lot better at doing its job while also filtering the air in your home. During regular maintenance the unit filter must be swapped out for a new one or simply cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
How can I tell if my primary air filter is about to stop working?
- Light will almost not penetrate through a dirty filter
- It is highly advised to swap out your air filter four times a year to help clean the indoor air
- The unit air filter looks brown and could be replaced now
