A changeable air filter was created for removing small dust molecules and other particles as it passes through. This filtering system will help keep the unit dust-free and make it operate much more efficient while cleaning the air you breathe. During regular maintenance the filter should be simply replaced or cleaned at least twice a year if not more, depending on how much you use it.
Major indications your filter is in dire need of a replacement
- With a light behind the air filter, the light cannot permeate to the other side of a dirty filter
- It is recommended to switch out the air filter in your unit every season of the year to keep the unit running efficiently
- The system air filter looks gray or brown and maybe should be replaced ASAP
