LG R1804H Filter
The filter in the wall unit was designed for filtering minute dust particles and other small elements as it is being forced through the system. This can both protect the unit and make it run much more efficient while cleaning the air you breathe in your house. Due to the amount of dust in the house, this filter should really be exchanged or cleaned periodically in order to keep things clean.
Major clues the primary air filter has little life left
- The system air filter looks brown and it would be a good idea to replace it now
- It is greatly advised to switch out the air filter in your unit about every three months in order to keep the air free from too much dust
- If you place a light source behind it, the light cannot shine on the opposite side of a clogged air filter
