Lennox 10ACE-036 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor board determines when or if to start the defrosting phase which helps to continue normal heating and cooling operations. It is influenced by a defrost sensor located somewhere by the condenser to ascertain when to begin.
Some clues of a deteriorating Lennox defrost sensor board
- The main board may throw an alphanumeric error code if the defrost board goes out
- Defrost session has not run for quite some time even though there is a large amount of frost built up
- The whole system may not work at all because of the frost issue
