Lennox 12CHP030 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, if and when the air is actually warm enough to activate the main blower. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then the house will never get warm enough.
Clues limit switch will not live much longer
- The heating and cooling system will not start or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
- Your system starts to go through the startup sequence but stops quickly more often than not
