Lennox 12CHP060 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that can determine when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Hints limit switch is failing
- The heating and AC system refuses to kick in or run well for any significant length if time
- The Lennox system starts to behave differently more often than not
