Lennox 13ACD-018 Transformer
A basic electrical transformer is a regular occurrence in most things electrical including your HVAC system and it converts the electrical output from 120V to 24V, for example. If you have to replace a transformer, be sure to replace it with one that is properly assessed for the right voltage value that is required. Heating and cooling transformers could have a certain criteria so make sure you meet the necessary voltage readings.
Major indications of a weak unit transformer
- No power evaluated leaving your transformer while tested with the unit on
- The volt dropping transformer physically appears cracked or you might notice sparking when it has electricity going through it
- Many different volts is calculated stemming from the system transformer
