Lennox 13ACD-036 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that decides when the heated air is warmed to a point so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What symptoms are present when the limit switch most likely is crapping out?
- The HVAC system is starting to act weird occasionally
- The HVAC system will not begin nor will it stay running for any length of time
