Lennox 13ACD-048 Expansion Valve
Your AC would probably be the worst AC in the world if the valve was not doing its job. Pretty much every air conditioning system has an expansion valve that makes it easier for the refrigerant to expand back into vapor form from a high pressure liquid state.
