Lennox 13ACX-030 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor located in the furnace that makes the determination if and when the air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. One big reason why limit switches are designed that way is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
Warnings poorly running limit type switch
- Your system begins to behave differently on more than one occasion
- The HVAC system will not even start or run for any length of time
