Lennox 13ACX-036 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that senses, or governs, when the heated air is warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches are crucial because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What are the indications that my limit type switch really is about to stop working?
- The Lennox system begins to behave differently on more than one occasion
- Your Lennox system will not even start nor will it stay running even though max temp has not been reached
