Lennox 13ACX-048 Flame Sensor
A flame sensor is only found on gas furnaces. It is a sensor that senses the exact flame when igniting the system. As with most devices used for safety reason, if the flame sensor is triggered the system remains completely shut down until the problem is dealt with.
Indications of an inadequate flame sensor
- The gas that has entered the furnace will not even try to begin igniting and shuts off
- Your
system is unable to generate heat no matter what - The entire heating system will sometimes work rarely whenever it pleases
