Lennox 14ACX-048 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor control board instructs the system to activate the defrost sequence which may be needed in order to remove frost build-up that may accumulate. The board relies on a specific sensor which is near the condenser somewhere, in order to make the decision on when the defrost cycle should begin.
Important signs your defrost board needs replacing ASAP
- Defrosting refuses to initiate even though there is a large amount of frost in the way
- Your system could stop running because of too much frost
- The main control board could signify an error signal referring to a bad defrost board
