Lennox 42W43 Limit Switch
The limit switch has a sensor in the air handler that determines if and when the air is warmed to a point to activate the main blower. Limit switches exist due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Signals of a poorly performing limit switch
- Your Lennox system will not begin the ignition sequence or run well like it is supposed to
- The whole system begins to run erratically on a regular basis
