Lennox CB27UH-036 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that decides when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents. The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Indications critical limit switch needs replacing
- The HVAC system is unable to start or run as it should
- The system is beginning to stop suddenly on a regular basis
