Lennox CB28UH-030 Cooling Fan Motor
The compressor fan motor has a unique job of cooling the compressor, because as the compressor gets hot the heat has got to be dispelled into the air. It can be replaced without the need of replacing the blade too, this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and cheaper too. Just make sure the new motor has the exact voltage and the correct amp listing as it is on the current motor.
What signals that my fan motor is in need of replacing?
- The Lennox cooling motor fails to spin the blade
- The main cooling motor begins to smoke makes a zapping sound while it tries to spin
- A distinct grinding sound while the cooling fan speeds up
