Lennox CB28UH-030 Flame Sensor
The flame sensor can only be found on furnaces that burn a gas. It is a safety sensor that will sense the acceptable flame when igniting the system. As with most safety features, if the sensor generated a error the system remains completely shut down for as long as the problem remains.
What are the clues to watch out for to know my flame sensor has a need to be replaced?
- The main type of gas cannot begin an ignition sequence and the board throws an error
- The heat system refuses to work and spits out an error code on the main board
- The whole system works rarely when it thinks it should
