Lennox CB29M-26 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor on the compressor is primarily in charge of keeping the compressor cool, this is needed because of the heat that needs to be driven away. Be certain you find one with the correct voltage listed and amps as it is on the current motor. The motor can be replaced solely on its own, this will make it a lot easier to install and cheaper for you.
Indications the condenser fan motor needs replacing
- The motor smells burnt or shorts out as it turns
- The Lennox motor cannot turn at all
- An unpleasant crackling noise while the motor speeds up
