Lennox CB29M-26 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the air handler that senses, or governs, if and when the air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air never warms up the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Main clues limit switch needs replacing ASAP
- The HVAC system will not initiate nor will it stay running for any significant length if time
- The whole system starts to stop suddenly more than once
