Lennox CB29M-65 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that makes the determination when the heated air is warmed to a point for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger then you will never get hot air through the ducts.
How do you know if your chief limit switch really needs to be replaced?
- The HVAC system starts to initiate and then stops on a regular basis
- Your Lennox system will not even start nor will it stay running as it should
