Lennox CB30M-21 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heating area that decides when the heated air is warm enough for the blower to be activated. Limit switches were created because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
Easy warnings of an unhealthy main limit switch
- The HVAC system is starting to ramp up but then stops occasionally
- The heating and AC system will not begin the ignition sequence or will not stay running even though max temp has not been reached
