Lennox CB30M-26 Blower Wheel
The main blower wheel is finned and is spun around by a motor to provide air circulation to all the ducts. It is occasionally called a squirrel cage because of its similarity to that of a pet hamster wheel. Regardless of what you call it, it is still a very necessary piece of equipment that is needed for suitable airflow.
Major indications of a defective blower wheel assembly
- Rattling noise can be heard as your blower begins
- You find less than usual airflow coming out of the system
- If a little piece of a fin has been damaged and it causes a lot of vibration
