Lennox CB30M-51 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor is in charge of cooling the compressor, due to the large amount of heat that needs to be discharged into the air outside. Be sure you get the similar voltage and the proper amount of amperage as it is on the current motor. The unit may be replaced without the need of replacing the blade too, this makes replacing it a lot easier to do and cheaper too.
Some warnings the condenser fan motor needs replacing
- The Lennox cooling motor fails to spin at all
- A weird scraping sound when the cooling fan stops
- The compressor cooling motor starts to smoke or sparks as it turns
