Lennox CB30M-65 Cooling Fan Motor
The fan motor has a specific duty of keeping the compressor cool, because as the compressor gets hot the heat must be discharged into the air outside. It is critical that you get the correct voltage listed and amps as on the current fan motor. It can be replaced individually as this tends to make installing it easier and it is something you can do yourself.
How do you know when your fan motor is not working properly?
- An unknown grinding noise when the motor is beginning to turn
- The cooling motor smells burnt or shorts out when in use
- The Lennox motor tries but fails to turn at all
