A normal limit switch is a switch in the heat exchanger that decides if and when the air is actually warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. The reason limit switches exist is due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool then the house will never get warm enough.
Simple signals main limit switch should be replaced
- System will not even start or will not stay running longer than 30 seconds
- Your system is starting to runs uneven frequently
