Lennox CBX32MV-024 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch located in the furnace that can determine when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air. The main reason limit switches are made is because if the air is not warm enough the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What are the clues to watch out for to know my critical limit switch needs replacing?
- The whole system begins to ramp up but then stops from time to time
- The HVAC system will not begin the ignition sequence nor will it stay running for any length of time
