A draft inducer, or vent blower, is one of a great many security devices located within your furnace.This blower is also referred to as a draft inducer blower, as it gives good draft for a much more purer and much safer gas combustion.
Simple indications of an ineffective vent fan
- Electricity is arriving to the draft inducing motor but the motor is dead
- Blower fan does not achieve full speed
- Vent motor will not run at the beginning of the startup
