A conversion kit could allow a furnace to convert burning from a particular energy source to perhaps something cheaper, perhaps from natural gas to propane that needs to be delivered or some other type of energy depending on what you want. Kits that convert your furnace from one source to another are not available for all HVAC systems. They will only be obtainable for those that are built for switching.
