Lennox G24-200 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor board determines when or if to start the defrost sequence which may be needed in order to defrost your outdoor unit. The defrost board looks to a defrost sensor which is near the condenser somewhere, in order to make the decision on when to begin.
General warnings of an inadequate defrost board
- Your HVAC system will not run at all because of lack of airflow through the outdoor unit
- Your main control board could display a particular error code when a defrost board fails to initialize
- The defrost sequence never begins despite the fact that there is a lot of frost in the way
