Lennox G26Q4-75 Limit Switch
A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts. A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that decides when the heated air is warm enough for the main blower to kick in and circulate the air.
What are the clues to watch out for to know my critical limit switch is in need of a replacement?
- System will not begin the ignition sequence or run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The whole system is starting to stop suddenly on a regular basis
