A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the heat exchanger that makes the determination when the air is actually warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
Warnings limit switch will soon need to be replaced
- System will not begin the ignition sequence or continue to run like it should
- The HVAC system is beginning to erratically frequently
