Lennox G71MPP Limit Switch
A normal limit switch is a type of sensor switch in the heat exchanger that decides when the heated air is actually warm enough for the air to begin normal home circulation. Limit switches are built because if the warmed air is too cool the you will lose all the heat as the air flows through the ducts.
How can I tell if my chief limit switch is failing?
- The heating and cooling system refuses to kick in or run even though the desired temperature has not been attained
- The whole system begins to act differently frequently
