Lennox HP13-036 Expansion Valve
Every air conditioning system contains an expansion valve that allows the coolant to expand back to its low-pressure vaporous form from a high pressure liquid state. Your main AC unit would produce no cooled air if the valve was missing.

Before you decide on buying or purchasing a new Lennox HP13-036 replacement part, do your due diligence and double check the correct model and also make a visual inspection in order to be sure the correct replacement expansion valve is being ordered.
