Lennox HP13-048 Thermistor
A very basic thermistor is a type of resistor which has a resistance that is solely dependent on the amount of, or lack thereof, heat. They tell the system when a certain temperature in increasing or decreasing. The control board must know the temp in order to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Major indications of a deteriorating temp regulating thermister
