Lennox HPXA12-018 Limit Switch
A limit switch was crafted due to the fact that if the air inside the furnace is too cool the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch contains a sensor in the air handler that can determine when the air is warm enough so that it may be pushed through the ducts and out the vents.
How can I tell if my limit switch is not working right?
- The system begins to become inconsistent on a regular basis
- System refuses to start or continue to run longer than 10 minutes
