Lennox HPXA12-018 Transformer
A transformer is a regular occurrence in most things electrical including heating and cooling systems as it changes a normal current of electricity usually from a higher voltage to a lower voltage. If you need a transformer, make sure to purchase on that is rated for the voltage that you need replaced. Heating and cooling transformers are all different and you must follow specific voltage needs.
Red flags the transformer is not going to last much longer
- Little or no power evaluated leaving the transformer block while being tested
- Cycling voltages is calculated across the system transformer
- The transformer seems damaged have a burning smell while in use
