Lennox HPXB15-036 Air Filter
The furnace filter filters out a lot of contaminants and other fine particles from the furnace. The size of the filter is not really a choice of options due to the constraint of the availability of room of the manufacturer of your system. It is suggested that the filter is changed four times a year because the filter can get clogged and may result in poor air flow through the ducts.
How do you know when your main filter is about to go out?
- It is highly suggested to replace the filter every 90 days in order to keep the air free from too much dust
- The system filter looks brown and maybe should be replaced ASAP
- If you place a light source behind it, the light will not infiltrate to the opposite side of a dirt-packed filter
