The reason limit switches exist is because if the air is not warm enough then you will never get hot air through the ducts. A normal limit switch is a switch located in the furnace that senses, or governs, when the heated air is actually warm enough that it can be circulated throughout the house.

- The heating and cooling system is unable to start nor will it stay running like it is supposed to
