This heat element causes the air to be warmed before the blower has it dispersed throughout the house. Your furnace will not create any warmed air to heat the home properly if the heating element goes out.
Symptoms the main heat element is failing
- Heat is not being turned out by your HVAC system at all
- Furnace element will not get warm or reach max temp due to being worn out
- The piece looks bad, charred and about to fall apart
