Lennox OF25-120R Expansion Valve
Your home AC system contains an expansion valve that allows the refrigerant to expand back to its low-pressure gas form from a liquid. Any home AC unit would not produce cooled air if it were to lack a properly working expansion valve.
Red flags of a weakening Lennox expansion valve
- The outdoor AC unit takes too long to comfortably cool
- Cooled air is definitely not as cold as it should be being blown into the house
