Lennox SPA048H4 Limit Switch
A normal limit switch contains a sensor located in the furnace that determines when the heated air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated. Limit switches were created due to the fact that if the air never warms up inside the exchanger the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air.
What warnings should I watch out for to know if my limit switch most likely is about to go out?
- The whole system is starting to erratically more than once
- The heating and cooling system will not begin or continue to run like it should
