Lennox XC13-060 Thermistor
In an HVAC system, a thermistor is a type of resistor whose resistance changes as it depends on temperature. The main control board interprets the temperature in some specific areas of the system to make a decision on what needs to be done. They can tell the system control board when the temperature in increasing or decreasing.
Indications the system thermister is going out
- No component could possibly not even begin due to a stuck thermistor
- Primary blower could never begin to begin to ramp up
