Lennox XC14-036 Defrost Sensor Board
The defrost sensor board commences an important defrosting cycle which may be necessary to defrost your outdoor unit. The board is relayed information from a sensor which is near the condenser somewhere, in order to decide when the defrost cycle should begin.
Major warnings of a weak defrost board
- The HVAC system control board may signify an error signal when the defrost control board refuses to initialize properly
- Defrost mode never runs even when there is a large quantity of frost in the way
- AC and heating system could stop working for the fact of lack of airflow through the outdoor unit
