Lennox XC14-036 Heat Element
The heating element lets the air be heated up before the blower has it distributed through the ducts. Your heating system will find it impossible to produce nearly enough heated air to efficiently heat, if the heat element is broken.
Symptoms of a laboring main heat element
- The heat element can not heat up or reach max temp because it is probably worn out
- Element looks eroded, charred and in rough shape
- Little to no heat being made by the heat element for an extended period of time
