Lennox XC14 Limit Switch
This is important because if the air is too cool inside the furnace to begin with, the you will lose heat in the ducts and the vents will just blow cool air. A normal limit switch has a sensor in the heat exchanger that makes the determination when the heated air is warmed to a point for the blower to be activated.
What red flags are there that my limit switch most likely needs replacing?
- The HVAC system starts to become unpredictable occasionally
- Your Lennox system refuses to start nor will it stay running longer than 10 minutes
