Lennox XC21-024 Control Board
The control board is made to command the gas valve, the igniter, most sensors and the blower all in one unit. Your air handler will be unable to run at all without the main control board properly connected to the unit. The board you select should match both the brand and specific model of HVAC system. You must do some research when you are deciding on a replacement because of the many variances of brands, models and types of systems.
Red flags your Lennox control board will need replacing
- Power to the control board has to be powered down and back up all the time for it to kick in
- Your system is not able to operate properly
- There may be a certain error code shown directly on the front of the control board
