Lennox XP13-036 Control Board
The control board is designed to regulate everything including the gas valve, the ignition igniter, the flame sensor as well as the blower all at once. The system will cease to function unless this board is hooked up and is correctly configured. The proper control board should match both the make and model of HVAC system. You must be careful upon choosing a board as a replacement due to the vast differences in systems.
How do you know when your main board is crapping out?
- There is flashing code revealed on the circuit board
- The board has to be turned off and back on often in order to continue running
- Air conditioner or furnace will not initialize period
